What is scarifying and why should you do it?
Scarifying removes the dead grass (thatch) from the lawn allowing it to breathe and grow more efficiently. This can make your lawn look temporarily brown, but don't be alarmed this is all part of the process in making your lawn come back better than ever!
What length should my lawn be?
It is important to know how long your lawn should be and this is dependent on the lawn type. For example, Couch grass should be at a maximum 18mm long, if it is very tall it will have the illusion of being healthy however, if you were to look under the surface it will be brown and should be cut back to reach its full potential, for our preference we mow all couch lawns at 14mm.
